Anthony David Gonzalez is a former American football tight end who played in the National Football League for 17 seasons. He is considered to be one of the top tight ends of all time. Additionally, he was the NFL's leader for receiving yards, and the third-highest total of receptions, Gonzalez was among the NFL tight end who had the most receptions.
Tony Gonzalez serves as a FOX sports studio analyst. Gonzalez is a regular on FOX NFL KICKOFF since the last year, hosts host of the program. The show airs on Sunday morning at 11:00 am ET before FOX NFL Sunday.
Gonzalez signed a new contract with the Falcons with a two-year term and $11 million on March 15 2013. This was despite having stated that Gonzalez previously stated that he was planning to retire after the 2012 NFL football season. Randy Moss' retirement meant that Gonzalez was the league's top player in active yards recieving his final season.
